Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Automotive Engineer to join our innovative team, contributing to the design, development, and testing of advanced automotive systems and components. This role involves working across various stages of the product lifecycle, from initial concept generation and feasibility studies to detailed design, prototyping, validation, and production support. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automotive engineering principles, a hands-on approach, and a desire to push the boundaries of current automotive technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of automotive components and systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including FEA and CFD, to optimize designs and predict performance.
  • Develop and execute test plans for prototypes and production components, analyzing results and implementing improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics, software, and manufacturing, to integrate systems seamlessly.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to automotive applications.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automotive component or system design (minimum 3 years).
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo).
  • Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain, chassis, or body structures.
  • Experience with engineering analysis tools (e.g., Ansys, Abaqus, Star-CCM+).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electric vehicle (EV) or autonomous driving technologies.
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques.
  • Project management experience in an engineering environment.
  • Previous experience working with external clients or technology partners.
