Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aviation, Marine & Niche Specialist to join our dynamic team in Tucson, AZ. This critical role involves providing expert risk management and insurance solutions to clients operating in specialized sectors, including aviation, marine, and other unique niche industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding complex client needs, developing bespoke insurance programs, and fostering strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client contact for a portfolio of aviation, marine, and niche industry accounts.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyze clients' unique exposures within their specialized fields.
- Design, negotiate, and implement comprehensive insurance programs tailored to client requirements.
- Collaborate with internal underwriting teams and external markets to secure optimal coverage terms and pricing.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on risk mitigation strategies and claims management processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks within aviation, marine, and other niche sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and insurance carriers.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, reports, and policy summaries to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in insurance, risk management, or a related field, with exposure to specialized industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex risks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience specifically in aviation insurance, marine insurance, or other niche commercial lines.
- Professional insurance designations (e.g., CPCU, ARM, ARe).
- Experience with international clients or cross-border insurance placements.
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to global client base.
- Master's degree or advanced professional certification.
