Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and calm individual to join our team as a Shopping Mall Security Dispatcher in Tuscaloosa, AL. This is a crucial full-time, sit-down role responsible for monitoring security systems, dispatching personnel, and maintaining clear communication across our security operations within a prominent shopping mall. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to remain composed under pressure. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Receive and log incoming calls, prioritizing and dispatching security personnel as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of all security activities, incidents, and dispatches.
- Communicate effectively with on-site security teams, mall management, and emergency services.
- Utilize two-way radios, phones, and computer systems to facilitate rapid response and information sharing.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain logs of daily activities.
- Assist in coordinating emergency response procedures and drills.
- Ensure all communication protocols are followed diligently.
- Provide clear and concise instructions to security officers in the field.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to dispatch and security operations.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and basic office software.
