Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Casual Babysitters to join our network in Casuarina and nearby suburbs. This is a flexible role, perfect for individuals looking to supplement their income or work around other commitments. You will be responsible for providing attentive and engaging care for children in their own homes, ensuring their safety and well-being while parents are away. Opportunities will be offered based on your availability and proximity to families.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children in a safe and supportive environment
- Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities (e.g., games, crafts, reading)
- Prepare simple meals and snacks
- Assist with bedtime routines
- Maintain a clean and tidy play area
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities and well-being
- Handle minor first aid situations if required
Required Skills
- Proven ability to care for children of various ages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of child safety practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
