Job Description
Join ADP Australia as a Background Check Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our hiring processes. This position is vital for maintaining our high standards and protecting both our employees and the company. You will be responsible for meticulously processing and verifying background information for new hires, ensuring all checks are completed accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to strict legal and company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive background checks including criminal history, education verification, employment history, and professional references.
- Review and analyze background check reports, identifying any discrepancies or red flags.
- Communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and third-party vendors regarding background check status and results.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including privacy laws and fair hiring practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all background check activities.
- Assist in the development and improvement of background check policies and procedures.
- Provide support for audit requests related to background check processes.
Required Skills
