Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Carpentry Tradesman to join our dynamic team in Taree. This is an immediate start position for a skilled professional eager to contribute to diverse construction projects. We value precision, efficiency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. All necessary tools will be provided to ensure you have everything you need to succeed from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, decking, roofing, and interior fit-out.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join timber and timber substitutes.
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, stairs, and mouldings.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate effectively with other trades and project managers.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in all aspects of carpentry work.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret plans and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of building codes and safety standards.
- Valid NSW Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal qualification as a Cert III in Carpentry or equivalent.
- Experience with a variety of construction materials and techniques.
- White Card (Construction Induction).
- First Aid certification.
