Job Description
We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Berry Sorters. This is a crucial role within our fresh produce facility, responsible for ensuring the highest quality berries reach our customers. This position involves light work and is suitable for all ages and experience levels. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully inspect incoming berries for quality, ripeness, and any defects.
- Sort berries by type, size, and grade according to company specifications.
- Remove any damaged, overripe, or unripe berries to maintain quality standards.
- Package sorted berries into appropriate containers for distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation throughout the shift.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Report any quality issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Good eyesight and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
