Job Description
Join the energetic team at Bunnings Warehouse as a Stock Picker in our bustling Wodonga retail distribution center. This hands-on role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in accuracy and efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring our shelves are well-stocked and products are readily available for our customers, contributing directly to a smooth and organized shopping experience. This position focuses on independent work within a team setting, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols. We value clear communication and a proactive approach, with an emphasis on operational excellence rather than customer phone interactions. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately picking and packing stock according to order sheets.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory in the warehouse.
- Operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers) safely after training.
- Performing regular stock counts and checks.
- Adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and counts.
- Commitment to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment (not essential, but a plus).
- Forklift license (preferred, but training can be provided).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
