Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and guest-focused Concierge Service Assistant to join our esteemed team at a luxury property in Gold Coast. This full-time position involves working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to ensure continuous exceptional service. The Concierge Service Assistant is the first point of contact for many of our guests, responsible for providing personalized assistance, expert local recommendations, and ensuring a seamless, memorable stay. You will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to luxury and guest satisfaction, acting as a knowledgeable ambassador for both the hotel and the vibrant Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage and transportation.
  • Provide accurate and personalized information about hotel services, local attractions, dining, entertainment, and transportation options.
  • Assist guests with reservations for restaurants, tours, shows, and other activities.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries for guests.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the local area, including events, cultural highlights, and hidden gems.
  • Ensure the lobby and concierge desk area are always tidy, welcoming, and presentable.
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure smooth operations.
  • Operate multi-line phone systems and property management software with efficiency and discretion.
  • Assist with car rental arrangements, taxi services, and valet parking coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel, hospitality, or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with the Gold Coast area and its attractions.

  • A valid driver's license (desirable for occasional guest errands).
