Job Description

Mace Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Shoreditch, Greater London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) across various stages of our projects. You will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, integrity, and consistency of BIM data, facilitating effective collaboration between design teams, contractors, and clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate BIM models from multiple disciplines, resolving clashes and ensuring data integrity.
  • Implement and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows throughout project lifecycles.
  • Conduct regular BIM model reviews with project teams, providing feedback and guidance.
  • Support the project team in the creation, maintenance, and delivery of BIM documentation.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of BIM training to internal teams.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure BIM requirements are met.
  • Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of BIM Level 2 requirements and ISO 19650 standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proven experience in clash detection and model coordination.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with other BIM software (e.g., Solibri, ArchiCAD).
  • Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDEs) like Autodesk BIM 360 or Aconex.
  • BIM certification or professional accreditation.
  • Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
