Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated BIM Coordinator / Manager to join our growing team in Portadown, Northern Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional eager to work on challenging and diverse projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing project efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration across our construction and engineering endeavors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM execution plans (BEP) and project standards.
- Coordinate BIM models from various disciplines to identify and resolve clashes and inconsistencies.
- Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure information flow in accordance with project protocols.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards, specifications, and client requirements.
- Facilitate BIM review meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Prepare BIM reports, progress updates, and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of BIM Level 2 standards and ISO 19650 principles.
- Demonstrated experience in BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Relevant BIM certification (e.g., BRE Academy BIM Practitioner, RICS BIM Manager).
- Experience with other BIM-related software (e.g., Solibri, Synchro, Dynamo).
- Previous experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with UK construction regulations and standards.
