Job Description

Veridian Innovations Group is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Biodegradable Plastics Factory Workers. In this critical role, you will be responsible for various aspects of the production process for our innovative biodegradable plastic products. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn and grow within a cutting-edge manufacturing environment. We provide comprehensive training, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to succeed, even if you have no prior manufacturing experience. This position operates on rotating shifts, contributing to our continuous production cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment used in biodegradable plastic production.
  • Load and unload materials and products from machines, conveyors, and other equipment.
  • Perform quality control checks on products, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall plant efficiency.
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and maintain high standards.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance tasks as instructed.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (not required, training provided).
  • Experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery (certification a plus).
  • Basic computer skills for data entry or machine interface.
