Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Blockchain Developer / Web3 Engineer to join our innovative digital transformation team in Louisville, KY. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts on various blockchain platforms. You will be instrumental in exploring new Web3 technologies and helping our clients leverage the power of blockchain. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and scalable smart contracts using Solidity and other relevant languages.
- Build and maintain front-end and back-end components for decentralized applications, integrating with blockchain networks.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and security audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Research and evaluate new blockchain technologies, protocols, and best practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation and maintain clear code standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Solidity for smart contract development
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals (cryptography, consensus mechanisms, decentralized networks)
- Experience with Ethereum ecosystem tools (Truffle, Hardhat, Web3.js, Ethers.js)
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of security best practices in blockchain development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other blockchain platforms (Polkadot, Solana, Avalanche, Binance Smart Chain)
- Familiarity with Layer 2 scaling solutions (e.g., Optimism, Arbitrum)
- Knowledge of IPFS, Filecoin, or other decentralized storage solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Prior professional experience in a blockchain or software development role
