Job Description

Maritime Nuptials is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bridal Boutique Fitting Assistant to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with a passion for fashion, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Fitting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our brides have a seamless and joyful experience during their gown fittings. We are specifically looking for individuals available to work weekends, which are our busiest and most exciting days! Full training will be provided, so no prior bridal experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior stylists and seamstresses during bridal gown fittings.
  • Help brides in and out of wedding gowns, ensuring proper fit and comfort.
  • Organize and maintain fitting rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for appointments.
  • Steam and prepare gowns before fittings and assist with post-fitting care.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for brides and their families.
  • Handle delicate garments with utmost care and attention.
  • Assist with inventory management and tagging as needed.
  • Support the boutique team with general tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times.
