Job Description

Join our team at GrainCorp as a Bulk Grain Shoveller for the upcoming harvest season in Rockhampton, QLD. This seasonal role is critical to the efficient movement and storage of grain within our facilities. You will be responsible for physical tasks including shovelling grain, maintaining storage areas, and assisting with general site operations. Full training will be provided to ensure you can perform all tasks safely and effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Manually shovel and move grain within storage bunkers, silos, and sheds.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and rail wagons.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of grain storage areas.
  • Operate basic machinery and equipment under supervision (e.g., sweepers, vacuums).
  • Adhere strictly to all site safety procedures and protocols.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
