Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Business Analyst Intern to join our dynamic team in Altrincham. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior business analysts in gathering and documenting business requirements through interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
- Support the analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings, contributing ideas and learning about project methodologies and lifecycles.
- Perform research on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business and technical solutions.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn.
- Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
- Familiarity with SQL for data querying.
- Previous participation in academic projects involving data analysis or business case studies.
- Demonstrated interest in consulting or financial services.
