Job Description

Are you eager to start a hands-on career in a skilled trade? Oakleaf Joinery is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cabinet Maker’s Helper to join our growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in cabinet making. You will work alongside experienced craftsmen, learning the foundations of bespoke joinery, assisting with various tasks, and developing valuable skills. Full training will be provided, making this the perfect role for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and build a career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled cabinet makers with various tasks, including material preparation and assembly.
  • Learn to safely and effectively use a range of hand tools under supervision.
  • Prepare and organise materials and components for cabinetry projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
  • Help with sanding, finishing, and basic assembly work.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and workshop procedures.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
  • Undertake general workshop duties as directed by senior staff.

Required Skills
