Job Description
KOA is seeking an experienced and passionate Campground / RV Park Manager to lead operations at our thriving Bend, Oregon location. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated individual to oversee all aspects of park management, ensuring an outstanding experience for our guests and a positive working environment for our staff. We are offering a comprehensive relocation package to assist the successful candidate in moving to the beautiful Bend area, known for its stunning natural beauty and vibrant outdoor lifestyle. The manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations, guest services, staff supervision, facility maintenance coordination, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations of the campground, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Manage and train a team of campground staff, including front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping personnel.
- Ensure exceptional guest service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Coordinate and supervise routine maintenance and upkeep of facilities, RV sites, cabins, and common areas.
- Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, optimizing occupancy and revenue.
- Handle financial aspects including budgeting, cash handling, reporting, and inventory management.
- Implement and enforce park rules and regulations to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Develop and organize recreational activities and events for guests.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence across the park.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all guests and staff inquiries.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in hospitality, property management, or a related field.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and reservation systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of facility maintenance and repair.
- Financial management skills, including budgeting and cash handling.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience specifically managing an RV park, campground, or similar outdoor resort.
- Knowledge of local attractions and outdoor activities in the Bend, Oregon area.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience with marketing and promotional activities for a hospitality business.
