Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Casino Operations & Gaming Intern to join our dynamic team in Kelowna. This internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various facets of casino operations, including gaming floor management, guest services, compliance, and hospitality. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals eager to learn the intricacies of the gaming industry. Full training will be provided, ensuring you develop a comprehensive understanding of the operational requirements and guest service standards of a leading casino.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the gaming floor, learning about game procedures and player services.
- Support the guest services team in providing exceptional experiences for all visitors, including answering inquiries and directing guests.
- Observe and understand various aspects of casino security, surveillance, and responsible gaming protocols.
- Learn about regulatory compliance within the gaming industry and assist in ensuring adherence to standards.
- Participate in operational meetings and contribute to discussions on improving guest satisfaction and efficiency.
- Shadow experienced team members across different departments to gain a holistic view of the business.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support casino operations.
