Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Product Photographer to join our creative team. In this unique remote role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality product images of merchandise sent directly to your home. You will set up your own mini-studio environment, photograph various products following our brand guidelines, and prepare images for our e-commerce platforms and marketing materials. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about photography, organization, and visual storytelling, providing full training on product styling and brand-specific aesthetic requirements. This position is 100% remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unbox, and organize products sent to your home for photography.
- Set up a dedicated photography space to achieve consistent lighting and backdrops.
- Execute high-quality product photography, capturing multiple angles and detail shots as per creative briefs.
- Adhere strictly to brand guidelines for styling, composition, and overall aesthetic.
- Perform basic image culling and naming conventions.
- Package and return products after photography sessions.
- Maintain clear communication with the creative team regarding product status and project timelines.
- Manage and maintain photography equipment responsibly.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new product types and photographic techniques.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of photography principles (lighting, composition, exposure).
- Proficiency with a digital SLR or mirrorless camera (personal equipment preferred, but can be provided).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home environment.
- Reliable internet access and a suitable space for a home photography setup.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and visual appeal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with basic photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Prior experience with e-commerce product photography (personal projects welcome).
- Experience with studio lighting equipment.
- Familiarity with Lululemon products and brand aesthetic.
