Job Description
Join the vibrant team at MGM Empire City Casino as a Slot Machine Attendant! This is a fast-paced, high-energy role perfect for individuals who thrive in a stimulating environment and enjoy direct guest interaction. You will be instrumental in ensuring our guests have an exceptional gaming experience, providing immediate assistance, performing minor machine repairs, handling jackpot payouts, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This position primarily involves night shifts and offers excellent earning potential through a competitive hourly wage and significant guest gratuities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service to all casino guests.
- Handle jackpot payouts efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on slot machines, including clearing jams and replenishing paper.
- Explain game rules and machine functions to guests as needed.
- Circulate throughout assigned areas, monitoring slot machine performance and guest activity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned slot areas.
- Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months of prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling cash and payouts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
