Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Charter School Management & Ops Intern to join our team in Oshawa. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about education and operations, providing hands-on experience in the dynamic world of charter school administration. You will work closely with our experienced operations and management staff, gaining exposure to various facets of school administration, including finance, human resources, facilities, and student support services. This internship is designed to provide comprehensive training and development for those looking to build a career in education management. No prior experience is required; we are looking for eager learners!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Support the operations team in managing school facilities, supplies, and equipment.
- Help coordinate school events, meetings, and parent communications.
- Conduct research on best practices in charter school management and present findings.
- Assist with basic financial record-keeping and budget tracking.
- Provide support for human resources functions, such as onboarding and record maintenance.
- Shadow senior staff to learn about strategic planning and policy implementation.
- Contribute to special projects aimed at improving school efficiency and student experience.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a post-secondary program in Education, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field.

- Familiarity with Google Workspace tools.
- Knowledge of basic office procedures.
