Job Description
Join the team at Heroic Hobbies & Comics as a Comic Book & Hobby Store Cashier! We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for excellent customer service and an appreciation for the world of comics and hobbies. In this relaxed environment, you’ll be the friendly face greeting our customers, assisting them with purchases, and ensuring their visit is enjoyable. This role is perfect for someone who loves engaging with people and thrives in a fun, specialty retail setting. Full training will be provided on our products and point-of-sale system, making this a great opportunity to immerse yourself in a unique industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service with a friendly demeanor.
- Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and gift card payments.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and making recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area and sales floor.
- Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
- Promote store loyalty programs and upcoming events.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for all.
