Job Description
We are seeking passionate and dedicated TEFL/ESL Teachers to deliver engaging online English lessons to a diverse range of students across the globe. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home. As an online teacher with EF Education First, you will play a crucial role in helping students improve their English proficiency, build confidence, and achieve their language learning goals through our innovative virtual platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, interactive, and personalized online English lessons to students of all ages and proficiency levels.
- Utilize EF Education First's proprietary online teaching platform and provided curriculum materials effectively.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track performance.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and engaging virtual learning environment.
- Maintain consistent communication with students, parents (for younger learners), and the EF academic support team.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
- Ensure a reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional teaching space.
Required Skills
- Native-level fluency in English with clear pronunciation.
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (or willingness to obtain one before starting).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in an online setting.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a computer with a webcam and headset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in teaching English (online or in-person).
