Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Commercial Directing & Producing Intern to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity for an aspiring filmmaker or content creator to gain practical, hands-on experience in the advertising industry. You will work closely with our experienced directors and producers, assisting across all stages of commercial production, from concept development to post-production. This internship is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the commercial filmmaking process within a bustling agency setting, offering valuable insights and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist directors and producers in pre-production planning, including script breakdown, casting support, and location scouting.
- Support on-set production, including equipment setup, talent coordination, and general production assistance.
- Contribute to the development of creative concepts and visual treatments for various commercial projects.
- Conduct research for project pitches, competitor analysis, and industry trends.
- Assist with post-production tasks such as logging footage, organizing assets, and basic editing support.
- Coordinate logistics, schedules, and resources for shoots and project timelines.
- Perform administrative duties as needed to support the production team.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and creative meetings.
Required Skills
- A strong passion for filmmaking, video production, and visual storytelling.
- Basic understanding of the commercial production workflow.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a film, media production, communications, or related program.
- A portfolio showcasing personal or student film/video projects (even if unpolished).
- Familiarity with various camera equipment and lighting techniques.
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for storyboarding or mood boards.
