Job Description
Join the City of Iqaluit as a Community Center Assistant and play a vital role in bringing our community together! You will support the daily operations of our community centers, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for all visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of various community programs and events.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service to all center visitors, responding to inquiries and directing them as needed.
- Help with administrative tasks such as maintaining records, managing bookings, and preparing promotional materials.
- Ensure the community center facilities are tidy, organized, and safe for public use.
- Support staff in setting up and taking down equipment for activities and events.
- Engage with community members to understand their needs and gather feedback on programs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and city policies.
