Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Trainer to join our team in Brighton. This role is crucial for developing and delivering engaging training programs that empower our employees with the skills and knowledge needed to excel. You will be responsible for creating innovative learning solutions, facilitating workshops, and ensuring our training initiatives align with business objectives and foster a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and development and a proven track record in corporate training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs, modules, and materials for various departments and employee levels.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for development across the organization.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive workshops, both in-person and virtually, on a range of topics including product knowledge, customer service excellence, compliance, and soft skills.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making data-driven improvements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to employees as needed to reinforce learning and development.
  • Stay current with industry trends, learning technologies, and best practices in corporate training.
  • Maintain accurate training records and prepare reports on training activities and outcomes.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate training or learning and development role.
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to design and develop effective training materials and curricula.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in training and development (e.g., CIPD, ATD).
  • Experience with blended learning approaches and virtual training platforms.
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry and related regulatory requirements.
