Job Description

Are you passionate about animals and eager to kickstart a career in the Australian pastoral industry? Gascoyne River Pastoral Holdings is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Sheep Station Hands. This is a unique entry-level opportunity where a love for animals and a strong work ethic are paramount. We offer comprehensive on-the-job training, meaning no prior experience in farming or livestock is required. You will be an integral part of our station operations, contributing to the daily care and management of our sheep flocks and maintaining station infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily feeding, watering, and monitoring of sheep flocks
  • Participate in mustering, drafting, and yard work activities
  • Learn and apply best practices for animal health and welfare under supervision
  • Assist with basic maintenance of fences, watering points, and other station infrastructure
  • Operate and maintain a range of farm machinery and vehicles (training provided)
  • Contribute to general station duties as required, ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment for both animals and staff
