Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the safety, security, and welfare of offenders and staff within the facility.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections of correctional facilities.
  • Supervise offender activities, ensuring adherence to facility rules and procedures.
  • Respond effectively to incidents and emergencies, following established protocols.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents.
  • Facilitate offender programs and activities as required.
  • Conduct searches and ensure contraband control.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve operational objectives.

  • Demonstrated physical fitness and ability to pass a medical assessment.
  • A valid Western Australian Driver's License.
