Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team in Launceston as a Day Shift Tech Support specialist on a casual basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers experiencing technical issues with their Telstra services. Full training will be provided to ensure you are equipped to handle a variety of customer inquiries effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for Telstra products and services via phone and chat.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to internet, mobile, and other communication services.
  • Guide customers through step-by-step solutions to resolve problems.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or specialized departments when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and technical resolutions.
  • Educate customers on product features and self-help options.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
