Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Dental Lab Plaster Caster / Technician to join our team in Derry. This hands-on role is ideal for an individual with excellent manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and a strong work ethic. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for the precise casting and trimming of dental models from impressions, laying the foundational groundwork for our advanced prosthetic creations. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or advance their career in dental laboratory technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming dental impressions for quality and accuracy.
  • Carefully mix and pour dental plaster into impressions to create accurate working models.
  • Trim and articulate plaster models to specified dimensions and standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Monitor plaster inventory and report needs to ensure continuous workflow.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and other team members to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere strictly to all company procedures and quality control guidelines.
