Job Description
Are you passionate about nature, hospitality, and sustainable living? Wilderness Expeditions LLC is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Eco-Tourism Lodge Assistant to join our team. This unique full-time position offers the opportunity to live and work at one of our remote eco-lodges, away from urban centers, with accommodation provided. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be given to the successful candidate. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the lodge, supporting guest services, and contributing to our conservation efforts. This is an ideal role for individuals looking to embark on a career in eco-tourism, gain hands-on experience in a stunning natural environment, and embrace a sustainable lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily lodge operations, including guest check-ins/check-outs and general administration.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, answering inquiries and assisting with needs.
- Support kitchen and dining room staff with meal service and cleanup.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas and guest accommodations.
- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties.
- Participate in property maintenance and minor repair tasks as needed.
- Support guided activities and guest excursions, ensuring safety and an enriching experience.
- Contribute to waste management, recycling, and composting initiatives.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with the lodge management team to ensure a memorable guest experience.
