Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Equestrian Center Event Assistant to join our vibrant team for weekend horse shows. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about horses and events, even if you have no prior experience in event management or equestrian settings. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in your role. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our weekend events run smoothly, providing vital support to event organizers, participants, and spectators. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event arenas, stalls, and spectator areas, including moving light equipment.
- Welcome and direct participants, visitors, and vendors, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Support event registration and check-in processes, ensuring smooth participant flow.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of event areas throughout the day.
- Provide general assistance to event organizers and officials, responding to on-site needs promptly.
- Assist with minor tasks related to horse care or handling under supervision, if comfortable and necessary.
- Ensure safety guidelines are followed by participants and spectators, reporting any concerns to management.
Required Skills
