Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Equestrian Center Event Assistant to join our dynamic team for weekend horse shows. This part-time role is perfect for individuals passionate about horses and events, offering an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our vibrant equestrian community. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our weekend events, assisting with various aspects from setup to visitor support. While previous experience in equestrian events is a plus, we value a proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine love for the equestrian world. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event arenas, stalls, and spectator areas.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to competitors, visitors, and vendors.
- Help manage event registration and check-in processes.
- Support judges and stewards with administrative tasks as needed.
- Monitor event areas to ensure safety and compliance with rules.
- Distribute information and answer general inquiries about events and facilities.
- Assist with light cleaning and organization of event spaces during and after shows.
- Work collaboratively with the event management team to address on-the-day needs.
