Job Description
Are you passionate about language and eager to embark on a career in education? Coastal English Institute offers an exciting ESL Teaching Intern opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic language school environment. This placement is perfect for aspiring educators with little to no prior teaching experience, as comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided. You will work closely with experienced ESL teachers, assisting in classroom activities, supporting student learning, and contributing to a positive educational atmosphere. This internship is designed to equip you with practical skills and insights into effective ESL teaching methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead ESL teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Support students individually and in small groups with their learning tasks.
- Help prepare classroom materials, visual aids, and learning resources.
- Facilitate conversation practice and interactive activities for students.
- Observe experienced teachers to learn best practices in classroom management and instruction.
- Participate actively in professional development sessions and team meetings.
- Provide administrative support to the teaching team as required.
