Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and adaptable Farm Maintenance Hand to join our team in the beautiful Bath countryside. This role involves a wide variety of essential maintenance tasks across our estates, ensuring all facilities and grounds are kept to a high standard. Crucially, this is a live-in position, with on-site accommodation provided as part of the package. If you are hands-on, enjoy a varied workday, and are looking for a role that combines practical work with the tranquility of rural living, we encourage you to apply. Full training will be provided for specific farm-related machinery and tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm buildings, fences, and machinery.
  • Assist with groundskeeping, including landscaping, weeding, and general tidiness.
  • Operate various farm equipment and tools safely and efficiently (training provided).
  • Monitor and report any maintenance issues or repair needs promptly.
  • Support general farm operations as required, which may include assisting with livestock or crop maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

  • Practical aptitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
