Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our finance team in O’Leary, PE. This pivotal role will be instrumental in guiding ADL’s financial strategy, supporting key business decisions, and driving our continued growth. The FP&A Manager will be responsible for leading our budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, providing critical insights to senior management, and enhancing our financial performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working closely with various department heads to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis, identifying key drivers of financial performance and providing actionable recommendations to management.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support strategic planning by providing financial insights and analysis for new business ventures, capital expenditures, and market expansions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting tools.
  • Mentor and develop junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional accounting designation.
  • Experience in the food & beverage or agriculture industry.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and business intelligence tools.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
