Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Social Entrepreneurship Incubation Intern to join our Hub in Aurora. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for individuals keen to learn about the social impact sector and contribute to the growth of early-stage social ventures. As an Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our incubation programs, assisting participating entrepreneurs, and contributing to the overall success of the Hub. This position offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience, develop a strong professional network, and make a tangible difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and execution of incubation program workshops, events, and mentorship sessions.
- Conduct research on social enterprise trends, funding opportunities, and impact measurement frameworks.
- Provide administrative support to the Hub's operations, including scheduling, communication, and resource management.
- Support social entrepreneurs with basic project management, documentation, and presentation preparation.
- Help maintain the Hub's digital presence and communication channels, including social media and newsletters.
- Contribute to impact reporting and evaluation efforts by collecting and analyzing program data.
- Engage with the wider entrepreneurship community and identify potential partners or mentors.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for social impact and entrepreneurship.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program in Business, Social Sciences, Non-profit Management, or a related field.
