Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Fish Processors. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing various types of fish and seafood products for distribution, ensuring the highest standards of quality and hygiene. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are reliable, have an eye for detail, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Full training will be provided to ensure you master all necessary skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning, scaling, gutting, and filleting fish and seafood products according to specific standards.
- Operating various processing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspecting products for quality, ensuring they meet company and regulatory standards.
- Packaging and labeling finished products accurately.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment at all times.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and food safety protocols.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a cold, wet, and fast-paced environment.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety principles (training provided).
- Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food production or processing environment.
- Knowledge of different fish types and processing techniques.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or 2).
