Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creatively inclined individual to join our team as a Fishing Lure Painting Assistant. This role involves meticulous hand-painting and assembly of our custom fishing lures, transforming raw materials into vibrant, lifelike baits. You will be an integral part of our production process, ensuring each lure meets our stringent quality and aesthetic standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a steady hand, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for artistic work, even if you don’t have direct experience in lure painting. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fishing lure blanks for painting by cleaning and priming surfaces.
- Apply multiple layers of paint, varnish, and protective coatings using brushes and airbrushes.
- Perform intricate detailing and artistic finishes to mimic natural prey or unique designs.
- Assemble lure components such as hooks, eyes, and split rings with precision.
- Conduct quality checks on finished lures to ensure adherence to design specifications and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly output targets.
- Assist with inventory management of painting supplies and lure components.
