Job Description
Are you looking for an entry-level opportunity to start a career in the automotive industry? Kwik Fit is seeking a motivated and reliable Mobile Tire Fitting Assistant to join our growing mobile service team in Yeovil. This is a fantastic ‘ride-along’ role where you will support experienced technicians, learn on the job, and play a crucial part in our mobile tire fitting operations. No prior experience is required – we provide full training for the right candidate. Your primary role will be to assist with lifting and moving tires, preparing equipment, and ensuring our mobile service runs smoothly and efficiently, delivering top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ride along with experienced Mobile Tire Technicians to various customer locations.
- Assist with the safe lifting, moving, and positioning of car and van tires.
- Help prepare tools and equipment for tire fitting and repair tasks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the mobile fitting vehicle.
- Learn proper tire fitting, balancing, and repair techniques from skilled professionals.
- Support technicians with basic administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (e.g., tires) safely and repeatedly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Eager to learn and develop new skills in a practical environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- A full, valid UK driving licence (useful for future progression, but not essential for this assistant role).
