Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and highly organized Inventory Control Clerk to join our team in Maitland, NSW. This is a hands-on role focused exclusively on maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock movement, and ensuring product availability within our distribution centre. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve stock variances, damaged goods, and misidentified items.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Operate inventory management systems to accurately record all stock movements.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and shipping processes as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety and operational procedures.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, adjustments, and movements.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, inventory software proficiency preferred).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable with shift work, including weekends and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail inventory role (even if informal).
  • Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
