Job Description
Are you passionate about live events and enjoy helping people? Fraser Coast Stadium & Events is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Stadium Ushers. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of the action, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training for all our new team members. If you’re reliable, friendly, and eager to contribute to the excitement of our events, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist guests with seating and general inquiries.
- Verify tickets and direct patrons to their designated sections and seats.
- Monitor assigned sections for potential safety hazards or issues, reporting them promptly.
- Provide information about venue facilities, services, and event schedules.
- Assist with crowd management and maintain orderly flow throughout the venue.
- Respond calmly and effectively to guest concerns or emergencies, escalating as needed.
- Enforce venue policies to ensure a positive and safe environment for everyone.
- Collaborate with security, first aid, and other event staff to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role (volunteer or paid).
- Current First Aid and/or CPR certification.
- Knowledge of the Hervey Bay area and local attractions.
