Job Description
Are you passionate about interior design and eager to kickstart your career in property styling? Elegance Home Staging & Styling is seeking a motivated and creative Junior Interior Stylist Intern to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone with no prior experience who is keen to learn the ins and outs of property styling. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship, gaining practical experience in creating visually stunning and market-ready homes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists with the preparation, staging, and de-staging of properties
- Help with inventory management, including packing, unpacking, and organizing furniture, decor, and accessories
- Support the logistics of moving items to and from storage and project sites
- Conduct research on current design trends and product sourcing for projects
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and styling equipment
- Assist with administrative tasks as required, including documentation and scheduling
- Learn and apply styling techniques under direct supervision to enhance property appeal
Required Skills
- Demonstrated passion for interior design and home aesthetics
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical capability to lift and move furniture and styling items as needed

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently studying or recently completed a course in Interior Design, Decoration, or a related field (Certificate or Diploma)
- Basic understanding of design principles and color theory
- Familiarity with the Albury-Wodonga property market is a bonus
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (preferred, not essential)
