Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Legislative Aide Intern to join our dynamic team in Loughborough. This entry-level internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in parliamentary affairs, constituent services, and local governance. You will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the MP’s constituency office, learning about the legislative process, and assisting with community outreach. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on policy matters, local issues, and legislative proposals to support the MP's work.
- Assist with drafting correspondence and communications for constituents, government departments, and other stakeholders.
- Support casework management, including tracking constituent inquiries and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, maintaining databases, and preparing meeting materials.
- Help organise and participate in local events, public meetings, and outreach initiatives within the constituency.

- Collaborate with staff on various projects aimed at enhancing constituency engagement and service delivery.
