Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of logistics records and databases.
- Support the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, learning about routing and scheduling.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams under supervision.
- Learn to prepare and process shipping documents, such as bills of lading and customs forms.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock reconciliation processes.
- Help resolve minor logistics issues and discrepancies as guided by senior staff.
- Participate in training sessions and actively seek to expand knowledge of logistics operations.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the logistics department.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Eagerness to learn and a strong desire to build a career in logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- No prior experience required – full training provided!
- Basic understanding of geographical areas and routing concepts (not mandatory, will be taught).
