Job Description
Join Hunterland Event Solutions as a Marquee Rigger Helper and become an integral part of our dynamic team! This casual, entry-level role is perfect for individuals with high energy, a great work ethic, and a desire to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be assisting our experienced rigging crew with the setup and dismantle of various marquee structures and event equipment across the Hunter Region. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. If you’re looking for active, hands-on work with varied day shifts and a fantastic team culture, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior riggers with the safe and efficient erection and dismantling of marquees and temporary structures.
- Load and unload equipment from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Transport equipment around job sites, often involving manual handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of equipment and work areas.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform general labouring tasks as directed by the crew leader.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labour.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach.
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian Driver's License (Class C or higher).
- Current White Card (General Construction Induction Training).
- Experience with basic hand tools or power tools (advantageous but not essential).
