Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Membership Sales Associate to join our vibrant team at Orangetheory Fitness in San Diego. This role is perfect for someone passionate about fitness, with excellent communication skills, and a knack for building relationships. As a Membership Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving membership sales, engaging with prospective and current members, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. You will work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, contributing directly to the growth and success of our studio. This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission, rewarding your sales achievements.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly membership sales goals through proactive outreach, lead generation, and in-studio sales.
- Conduct studio tours and explain the benefits of Orangetheory Fitness workouts to prospective members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, fostering a sense of community.
- Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to warm and cold leads.
- Assist with membership agreement processing, billing inquiries, and account management.
- Participate in local marketing and outreach events to promote the studio.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment.
- Collaborate with the coaching team to ensure seamless member experience.
Required Skills
- Proven sales experience, preferably in a membership-based environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and close sales.
- Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the fitness or health industry.
- Knowledge of Orangetheory Fitness programming and philosophy.
- Experience with Mindbody or similar studio management software.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
