Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Mattress Store Flipping Assistant to join our team in Bridgeport. This role is crucial for maintaining the presentation and inventory rotation of mattresses on our showroom floor. Working as part of a two-person team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement and rotation of various mattress sizes and types. This position involves regular heavy lifting and requires good physical stamina. No prior experience in mattress retail is necessary; we provide full on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently flip and rotate mattresses on the showroom floor as directed by management.
- Assist with the movement of new mattress inventory to display areas.
- Help organize and maintain the cleanliness of the mattress department.
- Collaborate effectively with a team member to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting and coordinated effort.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines for moving heavy merchandise.
- Assist with other general store duties as needed to support overall operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting repeatedly (up to 75+ lbs with assistance).
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
