Job Description
Join GoodFood as a Meal Prep Box Insulation Packer in our bustling Hamilton e-commerce facility! This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently adding insulation materials, ice packs, and other temperature-control components to our meal prep boxes, ensuring that all ingredients remain fresh during transit. Full training will be provided to ensure your success in this vital role.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently place insulation liners, ice packs, and other cooling elements into meal prep boxes.
- Inspect boxes and contents for quality assurance before sealing.
- Follow precise packing instructions to maintain product integrity and temperature control standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and food handling guidelines.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or food service environment.
